While our rule always remains “shipping is what shipping is”, at current rates we estimate a 5lb core book postage rate to be about $5 - $12 depending on distance from our Houston port warehouse.
Backerkit has a beta “pay shipping later” feature that is fun to understand, so anyone that got a smoke test should see the new deactivated shipping in the survey. If you’re being charged anything beyond the $8 “base shipping charge” (packaging and handling) just contact us.
Postage is not included until our shipping timeframe which is around December or January. At that time the postage will be added depending on the weight and distance.
